The Suicide Grief Support Forum is a public message board, an outreach project of the Parents of Suicides (POS) and Friends and Families of Suicides (FFOS) Internet Communities. The forum officially began on October 2, 2002.

Our mission is to provide information, support and comfort to anyone whose life has been touched by the suicide of another person. Connecting with others who have walked the same road can sometimes make a difference in how we survive a tragedy that may be incomprehensible.

The board is monitored by special volunteers who give freely of their time in memory of the people they lost to suicide.

We do not pretend to be professionals, and we encourage anyone whose needs are greater than can be met here to seek out professional help.

This is not a suicide or crisis hotline. Please contact a counselor, family member, friend, or emergency services if you are having suicidal thoughts.

A place to discuss just about anything, to get off-topic. The only restrictions are that discussions and sharing be suitable for a G-rated audience, and that the messages follow the rules of general courtesy and respect for others.

I'm happy too. I hope we can continue with all the good advice about medication, banks, money and all the other things that might not be good for us and might have contributed to our loved-ones' suicides. I certainly hope that it wasn't lawyers who were the real reason for this outage. You see, I was married to a lawyer, so I know how they operate.

I also want to thank you for this site. I missed it so much, when it was down. I have trouble finding the right words to express myself, so don't post much, but get so much comfort reading messages.
