THE COMFORT PRAYER by Jill Wolf

For those who wish to share how your faith has helped you deal with the suicide of another perons -- if you can do so in a non-preachy way.

THE COMFORT PRAYER by Jill Wolf

Postby ScottsMom » Thu Mar 24, 2011 6:29 pm

When loss and grief have torn apart the world we thought we knew,
words never seem to be enough for things we can't undo,
so I'll just say a silent prayer for what may comfort you:
the solace of warm memories that last a lifetime through,
the sympathy of others who feel your sorrow too,
the knowledge that the one you love is with the angels who
in kind and tender mercy will be watching over you.

Thank you Valerie. I have had a really bad day today and have a horrendous headache right now.
This couldn't have come at a better time. I can't stop crying....But this too shall pass.
Peace.
