I'm glad your'e able to enjoy something blossom...

Today I'm living because I got my two doggies to the groomer (overdue!) and they look very cute.
I cared enough about me to take a vitamin.
I wasn't grumbly on dog walks in the gorgeous Autumn day.
I managed to get through the day with WAY less negative self-talk.
I wrote in my journal.
I hugged my roommate.

Gee...! That's a lot!

Hi my post above was my initial thought on Reading this question. However now that I've had time to think about it I am living because I really want to do something in Niks name. I have no idea what or how just yet but I want his life to have meaning for other people apart from his family and friends. If it takes my lifetime I will achieve this for him

spent time w/ friends, was there for a friend who lost their godfather, hugged a not so nice person and asked the how their day was, passed out thank you notes to the people who helped me with my friend's benefit, got to talk to some people I care about and tell them nice things, ecspecially my Chad who just graduated from boot camp, got to share a nice story with my daughter about when her dad (who suicided 6 yrs ago) and I were dating, got to spend time with my SIL and hear my brother tell me, "I love you little sister," as he hugged me goodbye. Got to hear a friend tell me, "I love you." Got to hug a number of friends. Got an e-mail from a guy I'm seeing that said, "It's taken me an hour to try to figure out how to say this, but then it hit me, it's YOU I'm sending this to and YOU are the most appreciative person I know, therefore all that matters is I say what I have to say, not how I say it, YOU are such an inspiration to me. YOU are a pillar of strength. YOU are the most unselfish person I know. YOU could be pissed off at the world, YOU could decide to never find a reason to care about anyone or anything again, but instead YOU do the opposite. YOU have no idea how much I respect YOU for that! I ALWAYS HAVE AND I ALWAYS WILL! I know when it comes to men you really don't take chances anymore, and I can understand why, to say I'm thankful that you're taking even a small chance on me, would be an understatement. I have no idea what I, of all people, did to deserve this chance, but I do know that I am lucky for it and I will never take this for granted. YOU make me a better person and YOU have for all the years I've known YOU. In every situation YOU have gone above and beyond to help me and to make me feel better. YOU deserve to be happy more than anyone I know, because YOU do everything possible to make others happy!
I then printed the e-mail! So I can always read it and know I've made some kind of positive difference in someone's life! Not to mention everytime I see that e-mail I picture his face and WOW is he ever easy on the eyes! haha! No really he is! What took me so long to see this? He sent me a card on the bf's b-day this year that said, hang on kid, I'm rooting for ya!

Today I am living because I need to teach my daughter how to deal with death properly. I need to teach her that it's normal to grieve and be sad and cry and have bad days. That's also why I force myself to smile and laugh and go about my regular routine. I need her to learn from me how it's done, so in 50 years when her parents die she will have happy memories to talk about at our funerals.

I also have a little beagle and my husband hates her. If I'm not around who is going to snuggle that little dog??

am going to go take care of my friend after his first chemo treatment today, because I love him of course! Plus I overheard him telling someone I was his best friend the otherday:)
Today I am LIVING because I have so many good things I want to do for others and for myself!
