The Suicide Grief Support Forum is a public message board, an outreach project of the Parents of Suicides (POS) and Friends and Families of Suicides (FFOS) Internet Communities. The forum officially began on October 2, 2002.

Our mission is to provide information, support and comfort to anyone whose life has been touched by the suicide of another person. Connecting with others who have walked the same road can sometimes make a difference in how we survive a tragedy that may be incomprehensible.

The board is monitored by special volunteers who give freely of their time in memory of the people they lost to suicide.

We do not pretend to be professionals, and we encourage anyone whose needs are greater than can be met here to seek out professional help.

This is not a suicide or crisis hotline. Please contact a counselor, family member, friend, or emergency services if you are having suicidal thoughts.

Hi Guys-I lost my username and password so I am now 01012011. This time I will write it down. Today I am taking my husband to the hospital. He will be admitted for help with his depression and alcohol use-detox and then out patient care. He was talking about dying last night. Somehow after many conversations with his brother and many friends and family he made it through last night. I don't have to tell any of you what I was feeling or going through. I will get back to all of you my friends as soon as I can. Life is tough right now. Hugs to all. Please keep us in your prayers!

Thanks for your kind words. I am running on adrenalin only. Went to sleep at three am. Up at seven fifteen. Off to visit mom in hospital. Helped get her moved to rehab. Off to the grocery store-picked up some snacks and am making choc chip cookies for my husband. He loves them and has jokingly complained I haven't made them for him in ten years...encouragement cards. Off to visit husband downtown Houston from two to four. Back home. Pick up 88 year old aunt that lives with us to bring her to visit my mom in hospital. Back home-Cook dinner....Bed. Up at 5:30 to go to work.whew...out of breath even writing all of this. When will it stop. What is the next shoe to drop? I couldn't do this without all of you. Glad I know I have you all to come home to at night. Hugs to all. Keep us in your prayers. Deb
