"Rest in natural great peace
This exhausted mind
Beaten helpless by karma and neurotic thought,
Like the relentless fury of the pounding waves
In the infinite ocean of samsara."

Nyoshul Khenpo

It's the first two lines I like. I feel that if I speak them outloud, I can receive them as if from another.

Grief is very tiring, is it not?

I'll send these lines out to you once more -
Rest in great natural peace
This exhausted mind....

Night night, sleep tight.

Read this the other day and it definitely resonated....

"Pain travels through families until someone is ready to feel it." ~ Stephi Wagner

Feeling it is hard.

Peace and love to all x

I think it is a load too difficult for one person to bear in a single lifetime. You reminded me of what I sometimes said in the first few years after our loss (and I felt strangley peaceful saying it)It. "It's hard to be a human being". But I never felt diminshed or at risk or overly sad in saying this. It was just a way of acknowledging that this was biiiiiiiiig. I don't visit here these days. How can the following mean anything to those who have a recent loss? I would not give back even one of the tiny, painful, incremental steps towards inner assimilation (poor word)......I wouldn't because I couldn't, because I am changed. Not better, not worse, not even different. Just broader shoulders and a deeper inner gaze that grew as a byproduct of pain. I cannot go past a slogan that sums it up - 'It gets better'...if that buys you respite for a day, then it can buy you the same in a few days time. Much love. Hold on. x
