People copying/pasting our posts

Postby Matnet4 » Wed Dec 08, 2010 9:10 am

For the administrators: could someone please remove mrphantuan from our
member list? This person copied and pasted one of my posts and posted it as
their own....Not sure why. Thank you.

Wow, Nancy....how horrible is that? I'll never understand how people can be so cruel as to come into a forum like this and do anything like that.
I hope it gets taken care of.

Nancy, Did they post it here or elsewhere? I echo your sentiments though, this person needs to pack their bags and step away from this forum. I tried to fathom any rational reason why someone would do this, but could not come up with anything.

Instead I chose to fight the monster that killed him.

FYI
Thanks for the request- I could not find the post or the user- so another mod probably handled it.

We do strive to keep spam, trolls and the like off the boards. Sometimes the first clue to their presence is a post.

I will offer this advice.
Report suspect posts - click the RED exclamation button in the toolbar at the top of suspect post.
Do not engage user with responses.
When in doubt - look at profile for information to clarify motives.
Use caution when clicking links in suspect posts; some open disturbing images and information or could link to malware and viruses.

I'm sorry this ever happens and that anyone has time to stalk us. Help keep our community safe by using the tips and common sense.

Love Ya'll
