My dear brother Christopher would have been 57...makes me 59...We shared so many birthdays together...Thanks Mom...LOL..Please take a moment to remember my dear brother Christopher this Friday and how I will be missing calling him and hearing him say " Hey-Sister Sledge" Hey "Debbie Crebbie"..God-help me get through the day-the moments--and mostly the memories. I am lucky to feel this pain..I loved him that much!

Hi Deb,
Happy birthday to both you and Christopher. Even as you sorely miss Christopher this coming Friday, I hope you can think of all the ways you are happy he was born, all of those things that make you glad he has become part of your life.

Hoping for a peaceful day,

Suzanne

"There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in". We don't choose the crack, that's for sure. And the light comes in anyway. A peaceful birthday to you both.

So today I had a root canal. I had had a great day at work-not going to bore you all with details...butI was not looking forward on going to the endodontist-so-there I sat in the dental chair looking out the window. Two birds were perched on the roof of the building next door-about four feet apart. They weren't moving. I was feeling very anxious-and was also feeling out of control with my emotions due to the anxiety. And to top things off-this endodontist's first name was Christopher...humm. So I closed my eyes and made it through without too much anxiety-even though my whole body-every muscle was tense. I left the office feeling somewhat lost. AND THEN-there he was. A homeless man begging at the corner-shaking like a leaf and people were giving him a few coins in his hat. I went to the local Wendy's and bought a double meat, double chees , with fries and as coffee and turned around and gave him the meal. My heart felt so soft and happy for that brief moment. What I am trying to say is somehow that random act of kindness helped my hurting heart. I plan on doing as many random acts of kindness and just maybe-just maybe, it will lead my heart not to ache so much-and if I do these acts of kindness, I will do them for Christopher-each and everyone of them. Just thought I'd share an idea....Hugs to all
